- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪We came to Job's Peak after Carson Valley Animal Hospital made our dying dog wait 2-1/2 hours, while in extreme pain, before they euthanized him. They were aware of his condition as they had been treating him for months. No matter our entreaties, they said they would get to him as soon as they could. Needless to say, we never went back. Job's Peak has been a breath of fresh air when it comes to the treatment of our four dogs. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff - Theresa, Melissa and Toby - are outstanding and so kind. True, the ease of getting an appointment at times is frustrating but if your pet's condition is serious they will get him/her in to see the doctor, even if you have to drop the pet off and pick up later. We have no plans of going elsewhere as we are completely satisfied with the care our animals receive.June 28, 2017by Cheryl Isbell
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I called for an appointment for my sick dog on Monday and was told that there was nothing available until Thursday. After waiting four days, I started my 37 mile drive at 7:00 for an eight o'clock morning appointment to discover road work being done on 395. Since the flag man detained me, I called to let the office know that I would be a little late due to road construction delay. I arrived at Job's Peak at 8:08 am, was given a bunch of forms to complete (which I did) and only after that was told that the doctor couldn't see my dog because the doctor had surgeries to perform. Really? Eight minutes late.... the surgeries couldn't wait a few minutes? Even after waiting four days..... after driving 37 miles..... after calling to inform them of road construction delay..... after completing the paperwork..... REALLY? I had a bad experience with this veterinary practice once before but gave it another chance. Now I will never go back. I'd drive to Reno before going where no one cares about me or my dog, and I'd suggest that you avoid this practice too.December 01, 2016by Pat McLaughlin
